Shanetra attained her Masters in Social Work from Southern Illinois University, focusing on Addiction Studies. She provides services to adolescents, adults, families, and groups. Shanetra specializes in working with individuals with co-occurring disorders, in addition to providing sex offender specific treatment to registered sex offenders, as well as juveniles that have committed a sexual offense. She uses a variety of evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, Trauma-Informed Care, in addition to others depending upon the needs of the individual. Shanetra’s experience varies from working with men, wone, and child survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. She has also worked with at-risk-youth youth in the juvenile justice system, including the Texas Juvenile Justice Department.
